Chittagong, Feb 4 (UNB) – The main index at Chittagong Stock Exchange finished slightly higher yesterday (Saturday).

The CSE All Share Price Index gained 0.22 points or 0.01 per cent to close at 1393.53 points from Wednesday’s 1393.31 points.

Of the 54 listed securities traded today, 21 gained, 21 declined and 12 remained unchanged.

Some 202,495 shares and debentures worth Tk 1.52 crore were transacted as against 524,025 scripts valued at Tk 2.90 crore on the previous trading day.

National Credit (33,900), M Hossain Garments (22,650), Fu-Wang Foods Limited (19,000), Aims First Guaranteed (17,500) and Beximco Pharma (17,250) were among the volume leaders.

Market capitalisation stood at Tk 57.15 billion from Tk 57.14 billion on Wednesday.
